Primark Pu Biker Jacket, Topshop Gothic Floral Tunic Dress, Topshop Crochet Collar Swing Blouse, Boohoo Hat, Vintage Bag via Notting Hill Market, Topshop Amelie Boots
Dark based florals are literally everywhere at the moment - florals traditionally being that key summer print but the darker colour palettes giving a gentle nod towards the up and coming, grungey side of AW13. This statement print is just perfect, and wonderful for me in particular as I'm focusing on getting those trends nailed with patterns, texture and material rather than shape, due to the fact mine is forever changing! Seeing as both of us here at TSOP are more than pleased at the fact chartreuse will be sticking around, it's no surprise we've both gone for it!
This tunic style dress has been a massive hit in Topshop for the last 6 months and has been available in everything from that must have fuzzy square print from last LFW to various shades of neon animal print. They are show stopping and practical enough that you don't really need to layer it with anything for that easy throw on and go outfit for pretty much any occasion and versatile enough to be worn all the way through to the colder months. The tunic also suits most shapes, so I have bought this in a 12 so it'll carry me all the way through my pregnancy, fashionably and (hopefully) elegantly.
Despite all the perks to wearing this dress with minimal effort, this is me, and I couldn't resist adding arguably my favourite collar for just that extra little cute detail and surprisingly then finishing off with dramatic, black leather accessories.
