We Love TIW
TIW is the ultimate fashion-sharing website, brought to you by the people behind The Mail, You magazine and Metro. An interactive fashion forum, with a constantly updated Editor’s Blog, TIW is for women who like sharing their outfit choices and enjoy looking at what others are wearing. It’s revelatory, inspirational - your mum may have told you not to wear black with navy, but we’ve got a flat ban on style rules here on TIW – and you don’t have to be a model with a designer wardrobe to join in. Although those are, of course, welcome too. They are based in Britain, but they love to see users from all over the world. Follow them on Facebook, Today I’m Wearing, on Twitter @TIWfashion and Pinterest: tiwfashion
Visit TIW now at www.todayimwearing.com or download the Iphone App and get posting!
Over the last 2 weeks I have been posting everyday through the app as it's so quick and easy to snap and upload and share all your looks. I find it really inspirational for my own outfit choices- seeing what other people are wearing and how they are styling it!
Last week I won 'Style Star Of The Week' and a brand new Panasonic Lumix Digital Camera which I am over the moon about! Check out the feature they post about me HERE
Also If you liked our previous post called 'Lichtenstein' which was about about Comic girl style like our favourite Cara Delevingne then check todays post on the TIW blog called 'TRENDING- Comic Print' HERE for more on how to wear this look)

Zara Tribal Sweat, H&M Leather Fringe Jacket, Zara Tan Snakeskin Shorts, Charity Shop White Shirt, H&M Felt Hat, Zara Lion Necklace, Topshop Aggro Patent Boot
Zara are bringing out the most stunning pieces at the moment including the long sleeve top and shorts worn in this look. For me it's all about a premium spin on safari mixing prints like this top with the snakeskin leather and then dressing it up with a shirt and hat.
Also go for key printed tops or a tailored printed trouser and throw on a blazer or add a heel and clutch.
Go WILD with the accessories think tribal, think OTT and think gold !
My lion necklace recently brought from Zara for £19.99 has very quickly become my favourite and the rest of the jewellery collection is to die for and all around £20.
Co-ords are everywhere on the high street and Topshop have brought some amazing safari esq ones out recently these are great and handy to buy into because you can wear together for a 'on trend' throw on look or wear separately to create lots of different looks for safari. Like your own little capsule collection! Check out the latest giraffe print co-ord on topshop.com- so cute!
I always think in my past life I was part of an African tribe or something and this is why I like tribal accessories, prints and textures so much! I tell myself I will grow apart from these prints and stop wearing this look but its something I can't help but accept it's me and take in my style stride.
Now you should all start your own 'Fashion Tribe' this summer fashionistas!!

A look where I am in my absolute element mixing textures and prints! Since the Kenzo show I have been heavily influenced by safari prints and bold colour and can't wait to explore this trend this summer.

Welcome To The Jungle - Amy
Vintage Wrangle Aztec Shirt, Topshop 86 Tee, American Apparel Afrika Bodycon Dress, Topshop Eagle Necklace, Topshop Avenger Boots, Kate Moss for Rimmel Lipstick no 107
When I first moved to London I went Aztec crazy - shirts, shorts, dresses, socks.. if it was aztec I'd have it. But just as if you ate the same meal everyday, you start to get a bit sick and a bit bored, and I've been aztec clean for over a year! But this summer, Aztec is back with a new look. Taking an urban influence, the new way to wear new trend Safari is by mixing your typical aztecs with animal motifs, sportswear, sheer fabrics and two pieces
This fresh way to wear has inspired me to dig out my favourite Aztec pieces and have a bit of a play with outfits without making me feel I was in my teens again!
The American Apparel dress has been a staple in my going out wardrobe since I was 17 and is probably the one aztec item I have not flung in a dark hole somewhere. The bodycon and long sleeves compliment the oversized 86 tee perfectly, a look I've tried with the spotty dress from school daze too and now cannot stop wearing! To inject some colour, pattern and another layer of interest into the look, I have layered this gorgeous shirt I found in either Beyond Retro or Rokit a couple of years ago which has also kept me pretty warm! As a summer trend, getting this to look right in these freezing wintery days can be a challenge but animal motif sweatshirts inspired by Kenzo are the perfect way to feel summery in the snow :)

Naomi's Week In Style
Topshop Grey Astix Canvas Boot, Nasty Gal Fishnet Crop Top, Topshop Metallic Sweat, Topshop Elephant Jumpsuit, Nasty Gal Daisy Denim Jacket and Jeans, Topshop Black Varsity Sweat, Topshop Elephant Earrings, Topshop Floral Co-ord Bralet & Skirt, Topshop Safari Wide Leg Trouser
When I compose my want list each week I realise just how random my style is! From a fishnet long sleeve top to a pair of wide leg floral trousers- consistency is out the window! My mum always tells me wear what you want while you are young and this is something I have definitely inherited in my style. I used to be scared of print and out there style but now I like to try everything and make it my own.
This week as always my want list is as long as my arm but I have narrowed it down to my top 9 must haves for this week to share with you all!
1. Topshop Astrix Grey Boot
An absolute bargain at £40 and they look incredible on! I love the sporty style of them with the platform esq heel. These are perfect day shoes for me at work and look very current- they also come in black.
2. Nasty Gal Fishnet Crop Top
I love anything fishnet- fishnet tights for going out with chunky boots.. yes please! I love this top I think it would be great worn with some vintage denim shorts or layered underneath t-shirts or dresses to add grunge to any look.
3. Topshop Metallic Sweat
I am such a magpie, anything metallic and shiny and i'm all over it. This jumper has that premium sports luxe feel to it and I think it would be great smartened up with a blazer/tailored trouser and premium necklace for work but I can also see it for going out with shorts or layered over something printed... with fishnets and boots (of course)!
4. Topshop Elephant Playsuit
Safari is a trend I will heavily buy into this summer as I love all the prints and bright colour. This elephant print is gorgeous and also comes in a trouser if you don't feel like braving a jumpsuit! I can't wait to wear this in summer with a bright bandeau underneath, clashing bright aztec jacket and lots of tribal accessories.. Roll on Summer!
5. Nasty Gal Daisy Matching Denim Jacket & Jeans
I have been super naughty this week! Living on beans on toast so I could buy this matching co-ord from Nasty Gal. Daisy printed anything is super hot for this summer so when I saw these had gone into sale I was delighted! Both came to around £40 which I think is fantastic. They will be great worn together but I can already think of endless amounts of outfits for them worn seperately aswell. I can't wait to shoot this co-ord next week so keep an eye on the blog!
6. Topshop Varsity Sweat
I am still on the fence about buying a varsity jacket because I don't know if I will wear it enoughe although i'm sure I can be convinced if I find the right one. I love this new sweatshirt from Topshop. I am going to wear this with a stripey long sleeve top underneath so you see the stripes on the arms, metallic silver skirt and platform trainers. I think this sweatshirt is great and can be smartened up with a white blazer and rope chains.
7. Topshop Earrings
Since seeing these on one of the Topshop SS campaign images I had to have them! Worn on the image with yellow cheetah crop top which I have, silk bomber jacket and a short. I love a big earring and this is one I will be wearing throughout summer.
8. Topshop Floral Co-ord
On one of the most iconic images of Topshop SS 2013 you can see why everyone wants to get their hands on this beaut floral matching bralet and skirt. This is one I will be saving for holiday or praying for some sun in London this year! I love the skirt is high waisted for a more flattering style.
9. Topshop Safari Wide Leg Trouser
Amy will hate me for this (haha!) But I LOVE them- and they also come with a matching kimono! Daydreaming the other day about summer in London with my sunnies and this gorgeous print. I think it would love fab with lots of jewellery, tan shoes and bag. A premium safari summer look!
Lastly, since purchasing my Celine t-shirt I have gone tee obsessed!
Check out Doll Boutique who have done a Mean Girl collection of tees including 'So Fetch' and 'You Go Glen Coco'. At £35 they are so cheesy but I can't help but want to rock the 'So Fetch' one. Everyone loves a bit of Mean Girls. Doll Boutique also have an egyptian collection with the eye on which I j'adore.
Another popular tee is Black Scores 'Queen Delevingne'. All hail the supermodel that we all love you can now wear her round all day! This tee has been worn by Rita Ora and by many fashionistas who share the love for Queen Cara you can buy it now for £40 from Black Score online!
I am very excited for summer this year and as you can see by my want list I am starting to collect already! Think I am forgetting that it's still freezing outside and longing for summer already. It's always good to be prepared and plan for the season ahead this way I don't panic buy and try and create a capsule collection.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

I just can't get enough of the comic based product at the moment, so much so I felt I needed to get two pieces in one outfit for a real comic print clash!
The smiley face sweatshirt is by Tee and Cake from Topshop where I'm sure most of you have seen the matching tee and leggings set, and bodycon dress with the same design. Where I feel like a sweatshirt and the motif are quite young, I decided to wear it with the Bart Simpson denim shirt from She Inside buttoned up to the top underneather and wetlook leggings (hate myself, but such a go to item) to mature the outfit rather than just chucking it on with jeans.
However, it is a fun outfit so I didn't want to go too far down the dressing up route so opted for my Topshop Avenger Boots, black rucksack (that has my whole life inside) and Barry M lips in Sunset (again! such a perfect playful colour) to complete the outfit :)

Ebay Batman Top, Zara Checkerboard Runner Shorts, Beyond Retro Black Denim Jacket, Urban Outfitters Black Beanie, H&M Gold Chain, Topshop Aggro Studded Boot, EBay Transparent Clutch
Comic Girl Chic has come back with revenge this season! Since designers like Jeremy Scott used characters like Bart Simpson and Lazy Oaf used Minnie Mouse and Batman on their products it wasn't long before it was all across the high street. From comic strips to your favourite cartoon characters its time to relive your inner child and playful style and have some fun!
I never thought I would buy into this trend but lately I have been inspired by the recent Topshop 'Comic Girl' product and by Cara Delevingne's playful style. As you will see from my style I like to try everything but make it my own. So I first brought into the trend with a comic strip tube skirt as seen in my 'Lichtenstein' post.
For this look I wore my new batman top which I have fell in love with- I like to dress it up for work with a black blazer or dress it down with some high waisted vintage jeans and a varsity jacket. Worn here with Zara Checkerboard Runner Shorts which are bang on trend after the recent Marc Jacobs catwalk and an absolute bargain at £22- I love the print of the shorts with the batman top. Worn with vintage black denim oversized jacket, black beanie and smartened up with gold chain, black patent studded boots and my favourite thing at the moment.. Transparent Clutch Bag!!
My advice for wearing this trend is be brave and try it! Wear it how you like to dress whether it be smart or casual. It can be toned down or played up with clashing prints depending on your own personal style so go on and release your inner child and have some fun this season!

School Daze - Naomi
Topshop Yellow Cheetah Crop Tee, Grey Beanie, H&M Black Net Jersey, H&M Silver Metallic Skirt, Vintage Rokit Checked Shirt, Primark Black Rucksack, Topshop Black Suede Lace Up Boots
Varsity Jackets at the ready....We are heading back to our School Daze this season with an urban feel. Varsity jackets are worn with a crop tee and high waisted vintage jeans, teamed with a buttoned up shirt and shorts or with a floaty skirt to add a girly feel whatever your style be sure to invest in varsity whether it be Jackets, tees, beanies, socks or bags it's an easy and affordable trend to master.
I wore it with a twist and threw in a metallic skirt and sleeveless blazer for a more grown up look but then kept the casual cool with a beanie, checked shirt round waist, rucksack and my favourite item EVER at the moment my H&M net long sleeve jersey which I can't help but layer with everything it adds a sport luxe feel.
I advise all you cool kids on the block to check out Topshop and the new trend called 'Urban Education' which is where to pick up your varsity fix.
