Lichtenstein - Amy

Topshop Fluro Boucle Biker, Topshop Bang Crop Jumper, Topshop Geometric Burnout Blouse, Topshop Zip Side Faux Leathers Shorts, Barry M Lip Paint in Sunset

I have never had a proper grown up coat ever. I am very much a faux leather biker or vintage denim jacket kinda girl but around September last year I set myself the challenge of finding the perfect outerwear and 6 months later, I have finally found my prize! This boucle, biker shaped, oversized coat is the perfect mix between classic and cool - grown up for me, but not getting ahead of myself (or my age). The texture and colours are just gorgeous and it's weight will allow me to wear it all through spring and into summer but is more than warm enough during this freezing weather.

This made this jacket the obvious choice when we decided to do a more premium Comic Girl look. I am absolutely obsessed with all of the comic-esque product that's being coming through recently as I have always been a massive fan of brands like Lazy Oaf for a long, long while but I don't want to look like I'm 15.

My beautiful friends bought me the BANG! crop top for my 22nd birthday last month (they know me too well!) The crop shape, again, makes it more modern and more grown up than many of my other comic pieces but have worn this with a boxy geometric burn out shirt and high waisted faux leather shorts for an interesting mix of textures (no jersey!) without being too mad! I added an extra pop of colour with Barry M Lip Paint in Sunset which is quite a corally red which gave the outfit that extra bit of bright and extra bit of fun :)
