Naomi's Week In Style (March Week 1)

This week of course has been busy and fast paced but most of all EXCITING! Our new blog is up and running and we shot our first 3 looks for the blog so keep your eyes peeled over the next few days for the next 2 posts! This is what Amy and myself love doing pulling outfits/looks together and exploring our diverse style so for us to blog about it and document it is an absolute dream and I hope a good read and inspiration to you all!

This week I also started my new role within Topshop looking after the new store on Oxford Street which opened last year Marble Arch and also Selfridges which has been great. Of course working on one of the busiest streets in London has its perks! The street style which is amazing to take inspiration from and of course the shops! For me it's just to tempting to not pop in after work and spend my pennies and this has been no exception this week.

It's not often I let people in on my secrets and finds and where to get them from but some of my purchases this week are too good not to! There so good I know you guys will want to keep them all to yourselves (greedy fashionistas!) So here's my WHAT'S HOT list of this week!

1. Transparent Clutch Bags

Seen everywhere at LFW and recently around the city, transparent clutch bags are the new stylish way to carry your belongings round! A grown up approach to a clutch bag which I think adds a premium and diverse feel to any outfit. Obviously this bag is all for show and be sure to pack wisely because it's all on display (Iphone, your best sunnies, make-up, camera and your best purse)

2.  Moxham Jewellery

Moxham jewellery is stunning and is always featured in magazines and blogs. They class there jewellery as 'Wearable Construction' and offer a core collection of statement accessories and jewellery which is inspired by Egyptian mythology and repetition of striking motifs.  A necklace like the Anubis leather one above will set you back £130 but thats money well spent in my eyes for a stunning piece like this and can add such a bold statement to any outfit. It comes in various colours but for me the black and white are the ones to go for.
They stock everything from necklaces to cuffs and leather bags, the items echo the mindset of the brand, shunning the generic in favour of oversized, constructed pieces for day or night. I love oversized accessories so Moxham is the jewellery for me!

3. Tribal Print

Safari is going to be big for SS13 and I am already starting to collect pieces and wear this trend in a layered way while it's still cold. Since the Kenzo collection everyone has gone mad for Safari (Animal print, aztecs and bold colours) and I am no expection!

For me it's all about the Knitted Tribal Jacquard Sweat £42 from Topshop - the print is bang on trend and the sweat also comes with a matching skirt which seems to be a running theme with Zara doing one similar and I love a good two piece! These would look great dressed down with denim or up with a shirt underneath and leather.

4. Marc Jacobs Inspired Stripes and checkerboard

This week I have gone pattern crazy! Influenced by the Topshop trend Arthaus and the Marc Jacobs monochome collection I have been buying anything monochrome and patterned (obsessive to say the least!) To make it modern i add in a pop of neon or some statement jewellery. I love mixing up the prints and wearing them together. See below some of my inspiration and outfits.

5. Varsity Jackets

Top right

Bottom Right

The Topshop imagery from new trend 'Urban Education' has inspired me to buy into the varsity look I love how they have styled it with a crop and Mom jeans all available to buy from Topshop. I love the jackets also worn with polka dot/stripes and leather to make it more grown up. I also love the Black leather premium one above which will add a smarter look and could be worn over a white shirt. These jackets are also great for going forward into summer- we all know we hardly get any sun so these will be handy to throw over a t-shirt with some sunnies in the summer for that ultimate summer cool.

That's it! My top 5 what's hot of this week which I hope you all enjoyed and found useful. Keep your eyes peeled over the next few days with new outfit posts from Amy and myself.

Enjoy your weekend in style,
Naomi x
